Cheongsam Cake

We burned the midnight oil working on this 2 tier cake. It was for a Chinese birthday party. It’s actually a cheongsam designed cake with hand piped floral details using the brush embroidery technique.

This is an intricate design because we need to hand pipe each flower on the cake, then use a brush afterwards to create petals by applying inward strokes on the outline to achieve an embroidered look.

It is both a work of art and a labor of love to create each cake.
