A newbie in the cake decorating universe can only take enough when a huge challenge is luckily thrown at them. We do the task and pray that we keep up to their expectations. Can I beat the deadline and work wonders under time pressure? So, I was extremely ecstatic (imaginary cartwheels in my head for fear of actual cervical fracture LOL) when our cake landed on the pages of Cake Central Magazine Vol.5 Issue 4 (Fashion Issue). This is my first published work of art, a hand painted cake as my interpretation of the gorgeous Giambattista Valli designer gown. I had to ask my friends from the USA to send me a copy since it is not available in my country. My hubby and I are most grateful for Cake Central Magazine and Cakes Decor for this great opportunity to shine and to share our talent. I am even more honored and humbled to be recognized as a cake artist and be a part of this insane world of cake decorators.
