For my daughter’s birthday, I made a zoo-themed cake! I had fun making this because of all the different animals I included. Her favorite animal is the giraffe, so I made a wire-frame gumpaste figurines of her looking up at the giraffe and reaching up in amazement. I used some (washed) toys to make some molds for the lion and elephant. The zebras, monkeys and flamingos were made using First Impression molds. A big thanks to Julia Hardy for tutorial on jungle leaves! The birthday girl was thrilled!
