This is a 75th birthday cake for a sweet lady who is a weaver and an artist. She had me come to her home and take photos of her decor and art work to get an idea of her style then she gave me full artistic freedom on the design and told me to surprise her. So Fun!! In the photos there is a collage of the inspiration photos I took as well as the design I did for the cake. The golden pillar riser was the trickiest part, I ended up sculpting it out of modeling chocolate around a styrofoam core. I love the way this cake turned out.
