I made this cake to celebrate the change in the seasons. I’ve always loved when the leaves turn, and pumpkin season comes to my favorite mountain orchards.

The cake is my favorite chocolate recipe with vanilla buttercream on top, and as a filling, and chocolate buttercream on the sides. Fondant leaves and gourds.
