This was the most time consuming cake I have made to date with plenty of preparation in advance. The cake consists of a 10" triple layer round, 8" double layer hexagon, 6" double layer round and a 4" triple layer round, all vanilla sponge with vanilla whipped buttercream and raspberry conserve, covered in white fondant. The towers were made from modelling paste in advance and left to dry completely, turrets made from ice cream cones, covered with fondant then sprayed with pearl lustre. The characters were supplied by the recipient.
