This cake was made for my sons 2nd birthday party held at a petting farm. He is tractor crazy so we chose John Deere colours and had tractors everywhere from the tractor shaped crayons, tractor lollies and tractor bunting!

The cake needed to be different. A 3D tractor was too obvious (and I was sick of the sight of them by the time I got to the cake!!) so I went for a farm cake. Looking at photos all I could find were the traditional red barns and cute fondant cows but I wanted something different!

I decided to keep the green and yellow and add an autumnal feel with the scarecrow and pumpkins!!
