I classify this as my very first wedding cake as I did not know the bride and the cake was very much a wedding cake and not like my other wedding I did last year which was more detailed and able to hide any mistakes. still not 100% happy with this one but as my cakey friends know it was a real bugger. The new fondant I ordered tore the first 3 times I tried, so I went into a desperate attempt to make something work so thank fully I tried LMMF for the very first time and thankfully that saved the day and gave me the elasticity I needed to cover these barrel tiers.
The design was one the bride had found however I was pleased that I did talk her into making some changes to make this her very own. I don’t think I have ever been so stressed ever. Glad it is over and I have no cake this week as I need a week to recover and get my heart bounding again, lol.
