This was a last minute request for last weekend (18 Oct) which I just could not refuse as I do so love opportunities to make flowers and to paint. It’s a bit eclectic, but was allowed to use artistic license and it was well received.
Lower tier is a royal iced, hand painted rich fruit cake. The cherry blossoms I made from sugarpaste. The upper tier is a dummy cake I also royal iced and airbrushed black. The orchids at the top are made from cold porcelain.
I thoroughly enjoyed this, even though it took me well into the early hours of the morning to complete. Here are a couple of details as well … Thanks for looking 😄
