Made this for my loyal client. Inside was “lapis surabaya” three layers of sponge cake made of 20 egg yolks, a little bit of flour and lots of butter." lapis surabaya" is a very famous cake in my country. So sorry for the blurry pic. Couldn’t get proper pic with my phone.

So cute!
I googled the recipe for “lapis surubaya” and it looks delicious, I am going to try it sometime. I even found a gluten free version. (I’m gluten intolerant)

@julia that’s indonesian version of sponge cake. Very moist and spongy.
