Here was a message I received some time back from Syona’s mum who needed a cake with teal, orange color palette and an explanation as to why she wanted flowers and doves on her cake…….

“Syona’s grandfather speaks Punjabi and calls her “kuggi” (which means a bird/dove) as she flutters about the house all day long. She loves to be up and about (she is walking comfortably at 11 months). Can’t/won’t sit down for anything as there is always something new that attracts her. For her parents, she is a chirpy little bundle of joy. The most adorable birdie in our small little garden".

What a beautiful way to celebrate the 1st birthday of Syona!! God bless this little dove, who is bringing so much happiness in to their lives…A very happy birthday Syona!!

Thanks to Syona’s mum I got to work on this unique colour palette and came up with a cake adorned with a large fuschia open peony, orange roses, berries, filler flowers and ofcourse lots of doves fluttering about!!

To be honest, all I had was fragmented imagination. But you took that and ran with it. And it seriously turned out to be a stunner! Iam very happy with the outcome.”
