Have 2 more cakes to do this week, and I’m busy, but since I didn’t make a b-day cake for my hubby last week, thought I’d pop out a small combo b-day/anniversary cake. Made quickly yesterday & finished last night. Going out to dinner with family…back to the house for cake & coffee afterwards. Vanilla almond sour cream cake…used fondant left over from my b-day cake… not much time to smooth and fuss…so quick swirls of colours and lustre dust on my imperfect covering. Had the broach made months ago..so just popped it on for affect. Blue clay flower (to hide a dodgy corner) and coloured a wafer paper flower to make match fondant.
Gotta run….another cake to make….
