Updated – I’ve added a photo of the inside of the cake!!! Hope you enjoy!

This cake was for a very special 18 year old – I’ve been making her birthday cakes for a few years…and this one was different! This year she has become a member of the army reserves! She originally asked for a camo cake in the shape of a 1 and an 8. After learning the reasoning behind it, and knowing how girly she still is…I came up with a design that would let her be fun and girly and still celebrate her new army status…INSIDE! And she loved it! The entire inside of the cake is pink and green CAMO! Using three cake flavors (strawberry, lemon tinted green, and vanilla), I created a camo print on inside…so on the outside it’s all girly and fun…and on the inside…tough! ;-)
