It was my sister-in-law’s 30th birthday and I just always make a special cake for my loved ones as a gift. She has a green thumb and loves her bonsai collection, so both my husband and I only saw it fitting to give her a bonsai cake. My hubby helped with the construction of the actual tree, and he even helped making the leaves and hand painting them. He actually works in the renewable energy industry, but I think if he ever wants to quit his dayjob he might become a fantastic helper with the decorations – hehe ☺
