Its an important traditional ritual in the South Indian states, carried out during odd pregnancy months of 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th.
(INDIAN BABY SHOWER)

Displayed handcrafted things are the few auspicious things kept on this day!!

The cake board was been decorated with sikku kolam (A Kolam is a geometrical line drawing composed of curved loops, drawn around a grid pattern of dots)
Kolam is drawn on special occasions as a tradition!
Handcrafted sugar gundu malligai mottu (jasmine) was sprinkled on the board!

100% handcrafted and edible cake!!
