A massive 8 inch round cake, standing approx 6 inches tall, decorated with all handmade and edible decorations made to represent different aspects of various Katy Perry videos for a Katy Perry obsessed little girls 7th birthday. Made for a demanding little girl (my eldest daughter!) who thankfully changed her mind from a 3 tier cake to a ‘special’ single tier cake as mummy had an accident and fell down the stairs….. she took sympathy on me I think ;)
Pop Art style Katy was cut from various pieces of gumpaste and fondant then handpainted details were added. The cupcake is a hollow icing and chocolate structure filled with sweeties and made to represent the ‘California Gurls’ video. The tiger prints and wording from the ‘Roar’ video. The Egyptian detail from her ‘Dark Horse’ Video, then teh pizza, watermelon and heart from the ‘This Is How We Do’ video.
