My favourite part of this cake is actually the gravel, which took longer to make than I care to admit!
This cake is based on the car that the recipient’s family owned when he was a child, and is approx 15" long, and made of chocolate cake with vanilla Italian meringue buttercream filling (though it was never actually cut, as he loved it too much and even took it along to the RAC’s 60th birthday celebrations the following week!)
