I had the honor of making this cake for a wonderful woman turning 60! She and her friends have a running joke about calling the cabana boy while poolside to refill their drinks. Her husband thought it would be cute to give her a Cabana Cake for her 60th. I found a cute vintage sign and replicated it for the front. The entire structure is cake, with fondant draping. The trees are styrofoam balls covered with little fondant leaves, the pots are gum paste filled with cookie crumbles. The cake is Vanilla Bean with Dulche De Leche Butter Cream.
