A simple, but cute Doc McStuffins themed birthday cake. I used Docs colours on her clothing to bring this cake to life. The purple and white bands of her top, the coloured circles on her leggings, as well as the flowers and medical elements all help to make this themed cake work. It was a last minute decision to use an edible image, mainly because although adults are able to associate the elements on the cake as being that of Doc McStuffins, I wondered if the birthday girl, at only 2 would also identify with the cake without an image.
