Beach Theme Wedding Cake

This is a display cake with the theme “Getting Married on the beach”.
I’ve wanted to decorate a cake with this theme for a long time, and I was inspired by some of the Dream Tide figurines I have in my Christine Haworth collection (I love mermaids, angels, and butterfly fairies which I collect).
The Bride and Groom turned out a bit more cutsie than I wanted, but I’m still really pleased with it. Hoe you like it xx

Its really hard to get the pupils right with the ‘light’ in just the right place to give the effect that they’re looking into each others eyes……but I think I just about got it right….xx
