One of our tallest cakes so far. :) This 5-Layer cake is separated with pillars and stands a total of 3 feet and 8 inches.
Middle tier of 8×5 octagon dimensions is Carrot and Pecan that is frosted, filled and finished with Royal Icing and Captain’s Fondant.
The other four layers are chocolate filled and frosted with Dark Chocolate Ganache and finished with Captain’s Fondant. These are the dimensions: 12×5 octagon, 10×5 octagon, 6×5 octagon and 4×5 round.
The couple topper and the Bride and Groom initials are not edible as requested by the bride for her keepsake after the wedding.
We used over 40 pieces of large and medium white peonies, mums and baby’s breath fondant and royal icing flowers which are also airbrushed to the color palette of the cake.
