I suppose this sums up my passion for baking and cake decorating. It was the first batter of pancake that got me hooked when I was 7 years old. :)
Baking is therapeutic for me and cake decorating for others is an activity I now share with my husband. Getting paid for it is a different challenge, but we push forward. :) The business side of the artistry is tricky. and we know that we are not alone in taking on the mission of letting people know that it is not "just cake".
New techniques emerge and there is always something to learn everyday. We hope to delight our cake recipients as much as we are delighted to make the cake for them.
The icing on our cake? It is knowing that the one we made the cake for is happy to see, share and munch on our morsels. :)
