I loved making this cake – the sewing machine took a bit of trial and error – I tried gumpaste which was a big no no – I tried using polystyrene but found it was too fragile in the thinner sections – finally I tried modelling chocolate which worked a treat. My painting could definitely do with improvement but over all I was happy and my customer loved it!
