I made this cake for a wedding fayre that I attended today. It got quiet late in the afternoon and all the vendors clumped together to set ourselves up a mock wedding in order to take some good photos for our pages. It was a great day and I made many new vendor friends.
The cake itself is a 4,6,8,10 with wafer paper peony and gumpaste leaves and billy balls with some additional curly cues. The ribbon colours are a nod to the legalisation of same-sex marriage here in the UK. I personally love the subtle colours of the ribbons against the white of the cake.
