100% buttercream, except for string in spaghetti uncooked pasta. First time using spaghetti for strings, I usually pipe them in BC.
I frost base color after cutting out any areas needed. then I put some dots of burgundy and black on top and only do one color blending after each until smooth. I then outline areas and fill in with BC straight tip in any size for the area needed from #4 – #10. Then you can smooth with a small angled spatula, or your finger dipped in very warm water, and shaking off excess (I do the same procedure for the spatula dipping in water and shaking or tapping off excess).
Then you have to outline again to cover any edges.
I pipe all other details, and smooth. Then place spaghetti pasta for strings.
