This may be my most challenging cake yet. Just getting the squares to be square (ok, they aren’t) was crazy, then having to get all of those layers of cake squared off (again, not so much). Details, details, details and holy cow, STRAIGHT edges. Any future Minecraft cakes will cost $10,000, no $10,000,000 dollars.
The little guys are made from gum paste and hand painted. The ninja is the birthday boys creation in the game.

The white cake was supposed to go on the big cake board but I had a bit of a brain fart when I was placing the stuff and forgot. Why didn’t I just look at the diagram and plan sitting next to me? Pphhttt…. who knows? In the end, it turned out well and I’m pleased with it.
