A wedding cake for my daughter – had the most glorious weather and the gorgeous Sydney Harbour as the perfect backdrop for a wedding. Transported nearly 2hours, through the Harbour Tunnel and up the windy Old South Head Road – didn’t move an inch ! Central wooden dowel on MDF boards (No SPS system used here! :) )

Base tier – chocolate mudcake filled with chocolate ganache – ivory fondant – piped scalloped gumpaste trim – sitting on 1inch satin ribbon covered riser
Followed by caramel mudcake filled with white chocolate ganache and white chocolate raspberry mudcake filled with white chocolate ganache.
Top tier – extended height dummy cake
Gumpaste flowers included peonies, lisianthus, hydrangeas, dusty millar, rose buds and leaves, blossom filler flowers
