This cake was for a 20th anniversary vow renewal. I love the way it turned outI My first attempt at working with wafer paper, I really love the element it brought to this design. I wanted it to look like aged parchment paper so I printed the couples’ original wedding vows along with their wedding date and verses that hold special meaning onto the wafer paper and added splashes of gold and pearls. The top tier is ganache covered in the wafer paper, bottom is rustic iced buttercream and the flowers are gumpaste. tfl! :)
