This was a birthday cake I made for my friends daughter who absolutely loves cherry blossoms.
It’s made of five layers for chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting, covered in a thin layer of vanilla flavoured fondant.
The bark of the cherry blossom tree is made using chocolate flavoured fondant and the cherry blossoms are made using vanilla flavoured fondant.

(I must admit that I did look like a weirdo taking pictures of a drink inside a fridge. People were looking at me as if to say ‘has she never seen that drink before?’ Haha)
