Garfield’s head is made out of a small ball of red velvet cake, covered with cream cheese frosting and fondant and his tummy is made of a bigger ball of strawberry and cream sponge cake with strawberry Swiss meringue buttercream and covered with fondant.
The board is covered in fondant, the design is made using a kitchen fork and then painted in two shades of orange and brown to give the two tone effect.
Absolutely loved making this cake for my friends gorgeous daughter, who just loved the cake. The look and smile on her face were priceless :0)
