Earlier this year I wanted to practise my fondant modelling skills. I’ve never been particular fond of faces as I tend to struggle with the contours of the face.

I’m so pleased with how this little guy turned out and I refuse to throw him away ever! (Even though some of the colours have started to face and bleed 4 months on)

I initially added the nose onto a ball of fondant and then covered it with a flesh coloured “mask” the technique seemed to work.
