I used the concept of a bird cage for this cake because I thought that it would be an elegant idea, paired with graceful orange flowers and nice purple accents. I like the combination of the purple with the orange, and the green that adds that little touch of excitement and flare.
The orange roses are the most captivating part of the cake – I hand moulded them myself. I think that without them, the cake wouldn’t be complete.
