this cake is so pretty Yuri. I didn’t notice the photo area, I was busy looking at the cake!. You will soon find a nice little corner to photograph your cakes. You can hide background things by draping a table cloth or something like that. xx

Thank you so much Fifi and Elli! Yes, I was thinking about that using some cloth or wrapping paper. And I must also buy some nice stand, still missing one :( I’m just at the beginning so I would spend all my salary on cake related things if I could, haha.

you can use anything like for a stand, candle stick, block of wood. Charity shops are good places to visit for ideas and for cloths. You can use a dress for a coloured cloth or backdrop, you can do anything you like without having to spend any money on it. I personally never have enough time to set up a photography area properly but I generally take the photo in a particular spot where there is plenty of light but it is not shining directly onto the cake. Some people have special lighting and tents and things which do make a difference to the final photograph. It depends on how professional you want it to look. We will be looking out for your ‘new look’ piccies! :) :)

Thank you so much for a great comment, Fifi! You are right, I will think about some way how to make it look good without spending much money on it. I already have some ideas :) I’m going to make some cakes in June so I will have a chance to try it :))
