Hello, Hello! Its been a while since I’ve posted after a much needed break! What a cold and miserable day it is here in Sydney today but lets brighten your day with this little number. So lets kick off with last week’s birthday cake for little Kayla who turned one! Xanthi, Kayla’s mum gave me the most gorgeous theme “She Leaves A Little Sparkle Everywhere She Goes” and colour scheme to work with but pretty much left design up to me and boy did I play. I experimented, for the first time with edible #waferpaper and came up with the ruffled blossom for the bottom tier using shades of peach, blush pink and white with gold leaf being used for the middle tier.
