I was honoured to have been asked by my cousin Steph to make her dream wedding cake. I’d never made one quite so big, quite so detailed or using pillows before. Wooo it was hard going but after lots of ‘theoretical’ blood, sweat and tears, and very real stress, nerves, throbbing feet and aching back here it is. 12" fruitcake, 10" vanilla madeira with vanilla and raspberry filling, 8" rich chocolate with chocolate orange ganache and a 6" lemon madeira with lemon curd and lemon cream filling. Bride and Groom loved it as did all the guests, including me :D
