This cake was made for the lovely big hearted Alex from Houndstooth Studio: http://www.houndstoothstudio.com.au/. Not only is she the worlds best animal photographer but she does load of work for animal charities and sanctuaries here in Aus and around the world. I wanted to put the ‘tree of life’ on the cake (handpiped) representing all her fab charity work and the animals she helps plus her love and work with the Tasmanian Devil, along with ’picture frames around the side representing all the photos she takes of our beloved pets. Alas I had little time as I was overbooked as I had wanted to make the tree coming out of the top of the cake…
