There was so much to love about this cake – delicate lace, hand piping, sugar flowers..

This was my first attempt at using Crystal Lace. After reading all the online reviews with so many people having had problems with the lace not drying in time and/or cracking… it was such a HUGE gamble as I left it up until the last day to try my hand at it(!) – but I’m so glad it all worked out in the end! I’m very lucky!

Definitely ‘up there’ as one of my favourite cakes that I’ve had the pleasure of making :)
