A two tier gooey chocolate cake with salted chocolate buttercream, half of which was decorated for Sophie, and the other half for Lucy. Sophie is 5 and knew that she wanted a ‘Frozen’ theme, with Anna being her favourite character, and Lucy is only 1 so her half had a nursery theme with some of her favourite animals and characters, including Peter Rabbit, an elephant and a pig. I used sugarpaste for all the modelling. This was my first attempt at a half and half cake so huge thanks to Little Cherry Cake Company for their double sided backdrop tutorial (check it out here: “https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152267043511926&set=a.10151732900056926.188177171925&type=3&theater”). By the time it was finished I had completely fallen in love with this cake.
