I was so pleased to be able to make my friend Deb’s 50th cake depicting her and Porter, her miniature schnauzer on a spring walk on a 2 tier pink cake with branches & blossom.

I’m so disappointed that I didn’t get any good quality pictures. We were running out of time to get to the party and the light in my kitchen isn’t good in false light (something I really must sort out when I have some spare pennies).

The tree had a small dove sitting in it, for her dad who sadly passed a couple of years ago and the trunk was carved with her & her husband’s initials & a heart. Small hearts with 50 piped on them hung from the tree (added at venue). Sadly ‘Deb’ had an accident on the way to the party and Porter’s lead broke off but that was minimal damage compared to what I worried about on the drive there!
