I was asked to make this cake for a young man who was going to surprise his girlfriend in a restaurant after dinner. He delivered the cake to the restaurant in the afternoon and they were going for dinner in the evening. He didnt really know what he wanted but said absolutely no girly colours or flowers. The top was to be left bare as he was going to place the ring box there. The only clue he gave me was that his girlfriend loved her two cats.
Both layers are chocolate (her favourite) with chocolate mousse filling.
