The bride wanted a cake that was elegant and sumptuous and she was inspired by the dripping ganache style cakes that had fruit on them, but since this was a winter wedding and the fruits weren’t in season, I came up with this idea. You can’t see from the picture, but there was some flecks of gold leaf in the chocolate ganache drips as well.
