Happy birthday Zoe :)
This is the cake for my daughter’s 2nd birthday.
It was hard to decide what to make her as she doesn’t have favourite things. She does seem to enjoy peppa though so added a little peppa plush toy next to the little girl. As she is not into anything particular i thought i can give a structure cake a go.I love manga type girls so tried to do that. Not sure it was success…. I found it soooo hard to work in ’’big’’. I am not happy with this cake but i am glad it is just for us as i did learn lots from this experience and definitely keeping to small models from now on lol. I shall post her anyway as i am proud that she is 18’’ tall and still stands(day 3). Big achievement by itself for me:)

I think you are being too hard on yourself Yili as I think you did an awesome job on the face and capturing the “manga look”. I love the details and the plush toy idea…a clever way to incorporate some of your daughter’s fave things! I also admire that you challenge yourself to do structural and it is a flippin’ awesome first attempt! I still have not dared to venture into such structural challenge as I am SURE I will run into more trouble than I’d like to deal with haha…well done you =D
