Sharing the cake I made for CC Magazine Volume 5 Issue 1. Love, Locks and Keys was the theme, with inspiration pictures that had an oriental feel also. I used tiny 5 petal cutters for the petal ruffles that I tipped gold and incorporated the lock and key into the dry brushed gold tier. I tried to bring in the oriental feeling with the gold scrolls on the bottom that are in a geometric heart shape. And props to my husband for building the cake stand..yeah, he’s a keeper! ;) Thanks for looking!
