In a recent issue of Cake Craft and Decoration there was an advert for some Pattern Creator Tool Sets by Katie Sue Designs, which was accompanied by an absolutely stunning Victorian Christening Robe cake which they had used to demonstrate on. With my own Daughters Christening coming up I knew I just had to order them, which I did, and I wasn’t disappointed!

Ok, so my cake isn’t quite the same as the one which was pictured in the magazine, I didn’t have a lace mat and couldn’t quite achieve the same designs on some parts but still I was so proud of what I did achieve. It was, I admit, slightly over the top for a small christening with around 20 guests, but it was definitely special.

Just wanted to share my achievement :D
