This is my attempt at a “Signal Beauty” Peony Rose, I found a catalogue of a local tree peony grower. I so want to buy some. This Peony Rose tree totally stole my heart so I had to see if I could recreate it in sugar last night! I had super fun and ended up making two flowers last night. I was a bit sugar obsessed. lol But when aren’t I!!! I am the sugar junkie lol. Petals are free form with no wires made with a plastic bag and spoons. NO cutters … :-) Colour is ivory bakels pettinice with Ruby and burgundy Rainbow dust Progels

It’s really becoming harder and harder to tell if it’s real or sugar – your work is beyond amazing! I love seeing all your creations.

Beautiful and like the others have said, so realistic! I’m puzzled with what you used the plastic bag for though?!

Thanks so much everyone!!! xox

Marianne I use the bag to form the petals .. I post a few pics here to show you what I mean

Then once I have the shape I want I set them on spoons or sometimes different shaped containers etc.. anything I can find to give them the shape of the petals of the flower I am making. :-)
