This cake was featured in Cake Central Magazine Vol 4 issue 10. I was so proud to be chosen.
It´s completely hand painted using gel food coloring and, in some areas, edible markers. The areas where there are warmer colors, pinks mostly, were painted using dusting powder.
I completely miscalculated how long it would take to paint. I thought at first that it would take 2 – 3 hours but it, in fact took about 8.
The photographs were taken by a friend of mine, who is a professional photographer. I must say she did an excellent job. Thank you so much María.
