I have always loved art, from coloring to drawing, designed to 3D sculpting. I went to college for fine art, but struggled to find a job out of school. I went into advertising and sales to find out that working behind a desk didn't fulfill the itch for creativity. I took a few classes at Michael's Craft Store for cake decorating and later landed a part time job at a local specialty cake shop. That experience helped me to learn to how to be creative and productive at the same time. In 2011, I opened my own shop, Confectionery Cake Shop, in Faribault, MN. I make everything from cupcakes to wedding cakes to 3D sculpted cakes. I love looking at other artist's work and continue to be amazed at the talent out there!
