Stanley Cup Wedding Cake - Need some advice :)

Hello All! I have an exciting wedding cake in the works and was wondering if any of you brilliant, talented cake masters had any advice for the cup part of the cake, and how I can achieve this flawlessly. It doesn’t need to be cake, or even edible. The base of this cake will be styrofoam, and the top 3 tiers will be real, with the cup on top of that.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanking you all in advance!

Sweet Regards,
Esther

Wow! Crazy cake to make! For the cup at the top you could use a doll cake pan and invert it. I don’t know if the diameter would be wide enough though…

Could you make a chocolate bowl – a mixing bowl would be a perfect shape, then add the details with fondant shapes before painting silver?

looks like a bunt pan impression left to dry and then put on top or Rice crispies covered and textured …if i cant think of any other i will post it lol sorry cant be more help

That’s what I was thinking too Danijela. Either that or a large bowl of some kind. Gumpaste put on the bowl to dry, then embellishments added, and sprayed/painted silver.

Thank you sooooo much everyone!! So much research has already gone into this so I really appreciate your help! I was thinking of using some round styro’s for the base and building around it to form the cup. That was I can have a solid base to sit on top of a real cake. What do ya’ll think?
