Rude or not??

Just hoping for a little advice. I`ve just posted this Alice in Wonderland toadstool cake on my facebook page and someone referred to it as slightly phallic. I can kindof see what they mean now but it never crossed my mind before posting it, maybe I`m a bit naive! Now I can`t decide whether to delete the photo or not….is it offensive? Just wondering what other people would do, thanks , Julie x

Oh for goodness sake! I see a fabulous Alice in Wonderland scene and gorgeous modelling which is utterly delightful and not offensive at all to me………can’t speak for other people who have other things going on in their heads though ;)

Thanks Judy :) I decided to delete it from my Facebook page, better safe than sorry. And I didn`t want the young girl (that I made the cake for), to see the comments. But thank you for your thoughts xx

I can totally understand you erring on the side of caution – and definitely don’t want a little girl seeing that sort of comment. Just a shame people have to make something perfectly innocent smutty :(
Still think it’s an amazing model and your Alice is so full of life x

that did make me chuckle! (says more about her mind than your cake!!). This is fabulous and I am sad you felt you had to take it down because of one person’s interpretation … it’s a funny old world. hugs! xx

Everything that Judy said! Am sad on your behalf and on behalf of the little girl who now won’t be able to see her cake on your page and may wonder why….. xx

Just thinking about what Julia has said and hoping you post it on your CD page and maybe she can get to see it in the top 15 :D x

For goodness sake, I don’t understand how people’s minds work. If I were you, I would just delete the comment and keep the picture up.

Julie, this is a fabulous cake and how anyone could see it as offensive is beyond me So let me be the first to fave a stunning piece of art and well done you.

So sorry you had to remove this lovely cake from you FB beacause of the dirty mind of someone or other! I can assure you that I see nothing offensive in you cake! It is a lovely Alice in Wonderland cake and you should be proud of you work!

Ha ha that is ridiculous, would be far from anatomically correct being that shape anyway. What a pity that you took the photo down, could you not have just removed the comments?
