Cake studio- converting an old post office!!!

So we have recently moved to accomodate my expanding business and brought a fabulous house built in the 1900’s which was originally a bakery then a post office for many years.. So December we moved in and are now well underway with knocking down all the plaster and planning where my studio will be whilst I work from our family kitchen :-)

I will be doing the back shelving units up with funky wallpaper behind each section then painting them up, I will be building a simple kitchen in the room and keeping the original flooring which I hope to one day restore to its original state :-) I can’t decide on colours yet but hoping to have a soft caramel or something for the walls and accents of my logo colour around which is a purplely pink :-)

Hope to be working in here from June!!! Argh most exciting and huge project!!

What a nice large, bright space you will have to work in once it is all finished! Love the flooring and all the shelves!

I’m so pleased you are keeping the original flooring… What a gorgeous space as well.. I’m busy with conversions as well. I can’t wait to see your new studio, I’m sure your new crestive environment is going to be fantastic once finished :)

Thankyou very much its so inspiring seeing everyone elses cake studios giving me loads of ideas, was a bit stuck just kept going in thinking wow this is big where do I start!! x
